My super-cool Father's Day presents

Pinky, in addition to buying me some cool kitchen stuff (hey, is that a hint?) made this for me, and I absolutely love it:

In case you can't tell, that's a little Lily handprint and footprint in the left and right frames, respectively. Not only is it a great thing to have, it's that much more valuable because I KNOW that Lily was probably not that cooperative in making it. Now THAT'S love!

My other really wonderful Father's Day present came from Lily herself. She giggled for us for the first time!! Agh! SO CUTE!!!

Bumbo!

Just in case there was any doubt...I most certainly CAN hold up my head! I quite like this Bumbo thing, I'll sit happily in it for 10-20 minutes at a time. (It makes it easier for me to watch my Baby Einsteins)

Actually, I am quite advanced! The home health nurse visited me on Tuesday, and I am not only meeting the benchmarks for my adjusted age, but more or less meeting them for my CHRONOLOGICAL age, which is pretty darn good!

And I weigh 10 pounds! I've gained an order of magnitude!

Dada says Po Po and Gung Gung sent an email saying that my last blog pictures were very pretty (thank you!!) and that maybe they would come visit me this summer. Yay! I wonder how I might influence them?

Maybe I should give them a call! Dada uses phones all the time, how hard could it be?

Happy Anniversary, Nana and Nono!

Last weekend, in honor of Nana and Nono's anniversary, Lily took her mama and dada up to Cerritos to visit her grandparents. Perhaps out of respect for her beloved grandparents' special day, she was surprisingly good-natured for most of the day. In fact, we even caught her flashing her cute little smile!

(I half expected her to wink at me after that second shot. Doesn't she look rascally?)
